The Sunray

The Sunray is a no nonsense family run B B where your comfort and enjoyment of your stay our primary concern.

Built in 1825 these Grade 2 listed town houses are spread over 3 floors offering a choice of comfortable single double and triple rooms with en suite.

Our breakfasts are second to none and will suit all tastes and appetites.

We are situated on Plymouths historic Hoe area and only a five minute walk from the shopping centre and the Historic Barbican with its lively bars and restaurants.

We have limited parking at the rear of the hotel on a first come first served basis and cannot be reserved however on street parking is available within 200yds of the hotel.

Please note we take full room payment upon arrival and the hotel is all non smoking.

This is strictly enforced and customers will be charged for fumigation if caught smoking within the confines of the hotel.

Directions:

From the A38 leave at the Sainsburys' Marsh Mills roundabout. Follow the signs for the town centre for approximately 3 miles. Carry on towards the town centre after negotiating a large roundabout and get in the left hand lane there are 3 lanes here and take the feeder lane to the left to the Barbican and Hoe areas. Follow this road to a mini roundabout by an Indian Restaurant and turn left. Follow this road for approx 1 2 mile. It bends to the right by a harbour nightclub and antique market area. This area is the Barbican again keep on straight up this road passing restaurants and shops on your right. Over a number of traffic lights you will pass a church on the right United REform with a small spire and a large anchor on the left. In front of you there should be a traffic light junction by a building called Gill Akaster House. Turn Left into Lockyer street and Alfred street is located 200yds on the right hand side.
